Ustadha Amira Bakhsh is a deeply loved, respected and well-renowned teacher from Riyadh, KSA. She received her education from various renowned Islamic institutions and has been teaching for 20+ years.

Hailing from a humble background in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Ustadha is the oldest sister among her siblings. From a young age, she was raised in a multi-cultural environment which has been the founding reason for her relatability to people of similar backgrounds. Her understanding of the issues of the masses and helping them resolve the same in the light of Quran and Sunnah has made her lessons more poignant to a lot of us.

Ustadha started her classes with a few dedicated students and since her lectures were broadcasted on Mix-cloud, Alhamdulillah she has a following of 600 people all across the globe. She is multi-lingual in Urdu, Arabic and English and blends modern and conventional methods to make instruction and teaching as effective as possible. Her lectures are based on authentic knowledge and she is a role model for her students as she practices what she preaches.

Ustadha also served in the capacity of a Manager of the non-Arab section in the ‘World Assembly of Muslim Youth’ for 15 years. She is the author of multiple books on ‘Tadabbur of Surahs’ in Urdu and English. She was invited to be a part of the teaching team in Masjid an Nabawi.

She is a visionary, who aspires to spread knowledge and education as taught by our beloved Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم. Her qualifications in the field of education, paved way for her successfully founding an institute and a community for the expats living in Riyadh. In 2013, the first physical centre was set up and this opened up avenues for many more programs aimed at enlightening and educating the different sectors of the community. Weekend Classes for youth and working women, conferences, seminars, workshops, youth camps and finally an inter-school festival were all geared at providing educational support aimed at developing skills of women and children, instilling social values and enabling their participation in the society as responsible individuals, thus, providing an invaluable platform.

Since then, Ustadha Amira Bakhsh has been working incessantly to spread awareness through education that Islam teaches its followers to be beneficial and contributing members of the society. This zeal to spread light on a global level has now led to the establishment of its online platform, ‘Yanabee al Jenan Academy’
