Al Siraj Ul Munir
Ever wondered about having a role model and not knowing anything about him? Of course not! We claim that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is our role model, we claim that we love Him the most. But do we really know Him enough to love Him? Have you ever wondered how you will meet Him on the Day of Judgment without even taking time to learn about his life?
السِّراجُ المُنيرُ
Narrated Anas (t): The Prophet (ﷺ) said
"None of you will have faith till he loves me more
then his father, his children and all mankind."
[Ref: Sahih Bukhari Vol. 1, Book 2, Hadith No. 15]
How will we love Prophet Muhammad ﷺwithout knowing how He lived His life, how was His relationship with people around him, how he dealt with everyone, how He was the best person in the whole history of mankind!
Yes, he was the best leader, the best statesman, the best husband and the best father.
Allah ﷻsays in Surah Al-Ahzab, Ayah 45-46:
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِىُّ إِنَّآ أَرْسَلْنَـٰكَ شَـٰهِدًۭا وَمُبَشِّرًۭا وَنَذِيرًۭا
“O Prophet, indeed We have sent you as a witness and a bringer of good tidings and a warner.
وَدَاعِيًا إِلَى ٱللَّهِ بِإِذْنِهِۦ وَسِرَاجًۭا مُّنِيرًۭا
And one who invites to Allah, by His permission, and an illuminating lamp.”
Yes, (سِرَاجًا ُّ منِیرًا), an illuminating lamp, a lamp whose light spread across the whole world, a light which guided us out of the darkness.
Studying the seerah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ will not only help us in knowing the man that he was but will also help us implement his actions in our lives, increase our level of love towards him and help us to understand the meaning of the Qur’an. There are many more benefits of learning the seerah as seerah gives us power as a believer spends life like a traveller in this world. Therefore, we find comfort in the moments of difficulty or adversity by coming back to seerah. The seerah of our beloved Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم is filled with wisdom and each act or event in his life and his response to it, is filled with lessons. A detailed study of the life of the Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم as a leader, a statesman, a military general, a friend, a loving husband, a caring father and of course the devout slave of Allah. We need to learn seerah to know all the ways to deal with things economically, socially, financially etc.,...
The example of the students of hadith is like a green tree in the desert and the students of hadith sit under its shadow, SubhanAllah!
So come, join us on this beautiful journey, hand in hand together, under that illuminating lamp, so that on the day of Judgment, we will be pleased to meet this amazing personality, ال ِّ سرَاج المُنِیر, whom we studied, understood, loved unconditionally and implemented his teachings in our lives إن شاء ﷲ.
